Bob was the second New Zealander (and is one of only
236 people in the world) to hold the Master of Wine qualification.
He is wine editor of Cuisine magazine, author of the New Zealand
Wine Annual and is a contributor to wine publications in seven countries.
Over 14,000 people have attended wine courses that Bob has run from
his Auckland-based wine school which was established in 1986. He
has been the chairman of judges at the Royal Easter Wine Show since
1989 and has been a senior judge in wine competitions in Australia,
