How about Tags?

Vinote Cellar can be used with or without tags. Tags are placed on bottles (normally around the neck) and there are two great advantages of them. The first is it makes finding wines easy. The second reason is that when you drink a bottle of wine the last thing you want to do is log into your computer and record the wine you have removed.
